1. Who this agreement is between
Us: AI SAFE LENS, Diana Szyperska, NIE Y7285659D, The Office Puerto Duquesa, Calle Cigala 73A, 29692 Manilva, Málaga, Spain. Contact: [email protected].
You: the single named school on the subscription (the "School").
This licence sits alongside the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Where they disagree about how the materials may be used, this licence wins. Where we handle personal data on the School's behalf, our Data Processing Agreement applies and is incorporated into this licence by reference.
2. What "a single school" means
School Membership covers one named institution: one school, operating under one head teacher or equivalent, under a single legal entity, at the site or sites that institution itself occupies.
It does not cover:
- a second school under the same ownership, foundation, or governing body
- a school group, chain, network, multi-academy trust, or franchise
- a local authority, diocese, ministry, or any body buying on behalf of several schools
- a company delivering training to schools
Groups and networks are welcome and we price them separately. Email [email protected].
3. What School Membership includes
While the subscription is active:
- Unlimited staff at the named School. Every teacher, teaching assistant, coordinator, and member of the leadership team at that School may use the materials, with no seat count and no per-person fee.
- The full classroom resource library, both primary and secondary phases, including everything added during the subscription.
- The self-paced course materials, and a certificate of completion for staff who finish them.
- The AI Literacy Leadership Pack, with updates.
- School policy and governance templates.
- Family-facing materials that the School may distribute to its own parent community.
- Updates and corrections to everything above.
The Homefun series is a separate product for families and is not included.
4. What the School may do
- Give every member of staff at the School access, and let them use the materials in their teaching, planning, and staff training delivered internally and free of charge.
- Print and distribute pupil-facing materials to pupils enrolled at the School.
- Send pupil-facing and family-facing materials home to the parents and guardians of those pupils, for use with their own children.
- Store the materials on the School's internal systems, provided access is restricted to School staff, its enrolled pupils, and their parents, and is not publicly reachable.
- Adapt materials for the School's own context, including translating them, as long as the attribution stays on anything distributed.
- Use the policy templates as the basis of the School's own published policies. Adapted policy documents the School publishes under its own name are the School's own, and section 7 does not require the School to stop using them.
- Keep using anything already printed and distributed to pupils, permanently, even after the subscription ends.
5. What the School may not do
- Give access to staff or pupils of any other school, including schools under the same ownership or governing body.
- Post the materials anywhere publicly reachable, including the School's public website, social media, resource-sharing sites, or teacher-resource marketplaces.
- Sell, license, or otherwise pass the materials to anybody outside the School community described in section 4.
- Use the materials to deliver training that the School or anybody else charges for, including paid CPD, consultancy, or teacher training offered to other schools.
- Remove the attribution, the licence footer, or the watermark from any material.
- Use the materials, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, or evaluate an AI model.
6. Term, price and renewal
- School Membership is annual. It runs for twelve months from the start date and renews automatically until cancelled.
- We will send a renewal reminder at least 30 days before each renewal date.
- Cancel by emailing [email protected] before the renewal date.
- Payment is by card or by bank transfer against an invoice. Invoiced subscriptions start when payment clears.
- A school with a valid VAT number can enter it at checkout.
- The twelve months run in full once started. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten or refund the year in progress.
- Founding price lock, two years. The price the School joins at is held for the first twelve months and for the first renewal, however much the list price rises in between. From the second renewal onwards the subscription renews at our list price current at that time. A lapsed subscription that is restarted rejoins at the price current at that time, with no founding terms.
- Unlimited staff access is part of the founding terms and is held on the same basis, for the same two years.
- Staff tiers. We may introduce staff tiers in future. If we do, they take effect at a renewal and never mid-term, and we will give the School at least 30 days' notice before that renewal date so it can decide whether to continue. The renewal reminder in this section will say so.
Every renewal price is shown in the renewal reminder before it is charged, so the School always knows what the next twelve months cost before it commits to them.
7. When the subscription ends
The licence ends on the last day of the paid year. From that date:
- Staff access to the library stops.
- The School removes our materials from its internal systems, shared drives, learning platforms and staff intranet, and deletes downloaded copies. Nothing of ours stays on the School's systems after the licence ends. The renewal reminder in section 6 arrives 30 days before the date, so this is never a surprise.
- Anything already printed and given to pupils stays licensed permanently, under section 4. The School does not have to collect work back from children.
- Policy documents the School has adapted and published under its own name remain the School's, as set out in section 4.
- Certificates already earned by staff remain valid.
8. Who owns the materials
We do. The subscription buys the right to use the materials as described here, and transfers no ownership, copyright, or right to sublicense.
9. Personal data
Where we handle personal data on the School's behalf, for example the names of staff receiving certificates of completion, the School is the data controller and we act as processor. Our Data Processing Agreement sets out what we do with it, who our sub-processors are, and where the data sits.
10. Ending this licence
We may end this licence if it is seriously or repeatedly breached, and we will write to the School explaining why and giving 30 days to put it right, unless the breach is deliberate redistribution outside the School. If we end the licence for breach, no refund is due. If we end it for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the year.
11. Law and jurisdiction
Spanish law, courts of Málaga, without prejudice to any mandatory rights the School has under the law of its own country. Full detail is in the Terms of Service.
